Jacqueline Joan Pikaitis of Plymouth, Michigan, affectionately known as “Jackie” to her friends and family, passed away at the age 78 on February 15, 2022.
Jackie was born on July 18, 1943 to her parents, the late Joseph and Julie (Cisek) Jurkowski. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Pikaitis, beloved mother of Joseph Pikaitis, Kimberly (Pericles) Chiatalas, proud grandmother of Ryan (Rachel) Potter, Lindsay Potter, proud great-grandmother of Evelyn Potter, dear sister of James Jurkowski, John (Debbie) Jurkowski, Janet (Michael) Carroll, the late Julia Jurkowski, and had many nieces, nephews and friends. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Jackie was full of life and loved spending time with her family and many friends. She was a longtime Detroit Red Wings fan, and enjoyed dancing, traveling, bowling, golf, concerts, fishing, the casino, and so much more.
Visitation for Jacqueline will be at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S Main Street, Plymouth, MI 48170 on Tuesday February 22, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, with rosary at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, MI 48170 on Wednesday February 23, 2022 where she will lie in-state from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral mass beginning at 10:00 am.
Jacqueline will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any no kill animal rescue/shelter.
