Gerald L. Harr

Gerald L. “Jerry” Harr, 79, of Jackson died June 17 on his 47th wedding anniversary in Henry Ford Jackson Hospital with his wife at his side. He was born May 15, 1947 in Jackson to Albert and Norma Harr. He was proud to have worked as a quality control supervisor at the former Aeroquip Corporation. When he left there he worked part time at Hammond Hardware and Pool and Patio, both of which provided lots of funny stories. He loved meeting people and helping people out whenever possible. Jerry loved to fish, camp and play with his boxers. His third, Peaches, was especially loveable. He was proceeded in death by his parents and two brothers, Donald and Edward. He is survived by his wife Monetta, daughter Heather (Chris) Garrett, son A.J. (Amy), and five granddaughters, Charlotte and Adeline Garrett, and Lilly, Caroline and Alexandra (Lexi) Harr.

A private family burial will be held at Roseland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, MI.
