Georgia Saridis

March 5, 1924 — August 8, 2018

Georgia Saridis, age 94 of Novi passed away on August 8, 2018. Georgia was born on March 5th, 1924 in St. George, Greece to her parents, Gregory and Anastasia (nee Drougas) Tsorakis. She was the beloved and devoted wife of the late Anastasios Saridis; loving mother of two daughters, Symella (Larry) Chengges and Anastasia (Harry) Katopodis; very proud grandmother of Chris, Georgia, Tina and Ariana and great-grandmother of Niko.

Georgia was preceded in death by her three brothers, Anastasios Tsorakis, Panagiotis Tsorakis and Nikolaos Tsorakis.

Georgia is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and all whose life was touched by her.

Friends may visit Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral (located behind St. Mary’s Church in Greektown Detroit), 707 East Lafayette Blvd., Detroit on Friday, August 10th from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Trisagion service will be at 7:00 P.M.

A funeral service will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church on Saturday, August 11th beginning at 10:00 A.M.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Georgia Saridis to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
