Garrett A. Kazanowski

Garrett Anthony Kazanowski passed away on April 4, 2018.

Garrett was born on November 22, 1956 in Detroit to his parents, the late Conrad and Helen (nee Aliferis) Kazanowski. He was a Respiratory Therapist and was employed at Beaumont Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn. He was trained in pulmonary medicine and worked with those suffering from pulmonary disease. He loved his position and always went above and beyond for his patients.

Anyone who knew Garrett also knew of his love of music and especially his gift in playing the guitar. When he wasn’t playing the guitar, he loved listening to all music genres from the classics to the blues. One of his favorite artists was Frank Sinatra.

Garrett is survived by his brother and best friend, Kurt Kazanowski. He leaves behind his Christina O’Neil and his cousins, Karla (Kip) Falls, Lisa (John) Alferis, Scott (Nicole) Aliferis and Paul Aliferis.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, April 7th at 7:00 P.M. at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. The family will begin receiving friends at 5:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service.
