Frederick J. Burger

Frederick J Burger was born on February 10th. 1954 in Dearborn, MI  having passed on November 15th 2022 in Livonia, MI. Fred for most of his career had been an electrician and skilled tradesman for both Ingersoll Rand and Chrysler up until the day of his retirement. A man who worked all his life he was the eldest brother of two sisters , Emily and Ellen whom he leaves behind along with a child he had adopted from South Korea.

A devote man of God, Fred was a member of many churches but found his home and calling in the community of 242 of Livonia , a place that he planted many friendships and created a family. This community allowed Fred to work not only through them, to help with communities beyond, but it also opened him up to being able to work at the Local food pantry as well. While devoting his time to his faith and community, was known for being an active member of the gardening community and butterfly community. He was a man of several hats, bee keeping, spelunking (caving) , rock climbing, dog walking, and hiking. While he continued to build more friendships through those activities Fred was also known for his love of cooking and baking, donating to charitable organizations as well as tending to his Koi fish with close family friends.

For all that is missed about Fred, he is still remembered in plenty of lives with stories and hoarded jars of Hobbes Honey.
