Frances Eleanor Robertson-Loechner

Frances Eleanor Robertson Loechner passed away peacefully on September 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Born on July 29, 1934, she leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family.

Raised in a large, loving family of 12 siblings, Frances cherished the deep bonds of family throughout her life. She was blessed with five children—Samuel (Cindy), Calvin (Louise), Michael (Cindy), Susan (Joe), and Carolyn (Rob) —whom she raised with her first husband, Samuel Hoyt Robertson, Sr. Her heart grew even fuller as her family expanded, and she took immense pride and joy in her 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Frances had a vibrant spirit and a passion for life’s simple pleasures. She loved polka dancing, gardening, baking, sewing, and crocheting, always filling her home with warmth, creativity, and delicious treats. A devout woman, she was deeply involved in her faith community at St. Raphael Catholic Church, where she met her beloved second husband, John Loechner, Sr.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hoyt Robertson, Sr. She will be remembered for her devotion to God, her warm heart, and the profound love she showered upon her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, from 1:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, beginning at 10:30 A.M. at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan.
