Emil Johann Heilman

Emil Johann Heilman, age 100 of Plymouth, Michigan passed away at his home on August 18, 2024. Emil was born in Detroit on April 14, 1924 to his parents, the late Bertha (née Fischer) and August Heilman. 

He is the beloved and devoted husband of 64 years to the late, Jane (née McMaster) Heilman who passed away May 25, 2015; loving father of four children – Ron Heilman, Sandra (Mark Neracher) Heilman, Gary Heilman and Dan Heilman; proud grandfather of Amber Heilman, Ashley Ramirez and Shanell Heilman. He was fortunate to be surrounded and loved by a large extended family throughout his life. 

He was an avid bowler, golfer and always enjoyed a game of pool, English darts or poker.

He retired from Burroughs Corporation after 30 plus years as a tool and die worker.

Emil proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. He will be laid to rest on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park in Livonia, Michigan alongside his beloved wife, Jane.
