Edward Stanley Bielat, age 88 of Manistee, Michigan passed away on June 29, 2022. He was born on September 27, 1933 in Hamtramck, Michigan to his parents, the late Francis and Wanda (née Keller) Bielat.
He is the beloved and devoted husband of Aurelia Bielat who passed away in 1983 and Nancy Bielat who passed away in 2018, and he is the loving father of three children – Brendan (Janet) Bielat, Colette Bielat and the late Darian Bielat.
In Edward’s early life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. Later, he was led to farming and agriculture. He knew farm life was not easy, but loved it. He was passionate and he lived and breathed farming as most farmers do. He loved the land and all of the challenges it brought to him.
In 1985, Edward moved to Manistee, Michigan. While living there, he and Nancy owned Tossi’s Manistee Floral and Greenhouses. With his background, firsthand experiences in farming, and vast knowledge of growing in the field of agriculture, owning and managing a floral business was a natural for him. He became a great success in the Manistee community while managing a staff of floral designers, delivery staff, etc., and providing excellent service for large events like weddings, creating floral centerpieces or helping individual customers select flowers, vases, etc.
Edward was a loving and devoted, husband, father and friend. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Friends may gather at Oak Grove Funeral Home, 309 West Parkdale Avenue, Manistee, Michigan on Monday, July 18th, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:00 P.M.
