Doris Pinkerton Brady

Doris Pinkerton Brady, age 98 of Loudon Township, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in Findlay, Ohio. She is the beloved wife of the late Cecil Pinkerton and Lorraine Brady; loving and devoted mother of four children, the late James Pinkerton, Gerald (Janice) Pinkerton, Judith (Douglas) Olds and Jill (Roger) Lockhart; proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Doris was an avid quilter. She made complicated quilts and simple quilts, large ones and small ones. She enjoyed choosing the colors and fabric textures and the entire creative process gave her joy and fulfillment. There is a connection between the quilter and the quilt, and when that quilt is given as a beautiful, hand-made gift to a family member or friend, they will most likely feel the special connection they have to Doris through a quilt she made especially for them.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, September 8th from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 1:00 P.M. Doris will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Doris Pinkerton Brady.
