Donna Grace Coulter, age 86, of Plymouth, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 28, 2025, at Trinity Health Hospital in Livonia, Michigan.
She was born on October 27, 1938, to the late Waldo and Violet (Wynes) Shreve, Donna lived a life filled with love and devotion. She was a cherished wife to Bill Coulter, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage.
Donna enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including polka dancing, ice skating, roller skating, and listening to music. Above all, she treasured the moments spent with her loved ones; her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and great-great-grandchild.
She is survived by her three children: Greg (Jinx) Coulter, Echo (Tom) Reed, and Gail (Jeb) Guardiano. Her grandchildren: Shelley (Steve) Harald, Joanna (Ryan) Cymbor, Brian (Alissa) Coulter, Thomas (Daniela) Reed, Abby (Tony) Finateri, and Alexa (Curtis) Norwick, along with 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She will be fondly missed by her special friend and caregiver, Seemie Rowzee.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband; William Coulter, and her parents, and her dear friend Frank Almas.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff and hospice team at Independence Village in Plymouth for their extraordinary care and kindness during this difficult time.
As was Donna’s wish, her body has been cremated, and a private family gathering will take place.
