Dolores Krueger

Dolores Krueger, a dedicated educator and beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away at the age of 85 on September 10, 2026, leaving behind a large and loving family who will cherish her memory.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 5, 1941, to her parents, the late Anne (née Matulaitis) and Boleslaw Woloszynek. Dolores is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Ronald Krueger and loving mother of three children – Lee Krueger, Kristen (Jim) Swierb and Jason (Amanda) Krueger; proud grandmother of Danny Swierb, Savannah (Zach) Kroon, Jacey Krueger, Kailey Krueger, Elyse Krueger, Lee Krueger, Caden Krueger, Sawyer Swierb and Maddox Peabody. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother, Danny Woloszynek. She is predeceased by her son, Danny Krueger who passed away on September 17, 1995.

Dolores devoted her professional life to education, teaching chemistry and mathematics at Collinwood High School, Detroit Catholic Central High School, and Divine Child High School. Through her knowledge, patience, and commitment to her students, she helped shape the lives of many young people. Her work as an educator was a meaningful part of her life and a lasting contribution to those she taught.

Her memory will live on through the family she loved and the many students whose lives she touched.

Family and friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. A Rosary service will be at 7:00 P.M.

Visitation will continue on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road, Plymouth, Michigan from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 A.M.

Dolores will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, Michigan.
