Diane Leigh Herberger

Diane Leigh Herberger, age 79 passed away on March 4, 2026.

Diane was born on September 12, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri to her parents, the late Viola Victoria (née Ponzer) and Oran Herberger. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother and sister-in-law Oran Lee (Antoinette Helen Kellogg) Herberger, Jr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews – Christine (Glenn) Leigh Novak, Michael James Herberger and Anna Marie (Lawrence) Hebert, Donna Marie (Grant) Keay, Kimberly Ann Price, Laura Ann (Scott) Campbell, David Wayne Herberger, Julie Marie Riggs; great-nieces – Selina Marie (Alex) Robinson and Ava Elizabeth Herberger; great-great nieces Elissa Marie (Steven) Tackett, Casey Leann Hebert and great-great-nephew Joshua Emmit Hebert.

She is pre-deceased by her brother Ronald Wayne Herberger.

Diane graduated from Affton High School in St. Louis, Missouri. She was employed by Chrysler Corporation in Fenton, Missouri and later accepted other positions in the St. Louis area and Nashville, Tennessee where she began employment as an Executive Secretary for Sverdrup Corporation, an engineering, architecture and construction services corporation, and was later acquired by Jacobs and known as Jacobs Sverdrup.

In 2020, Diane moved to Northville, Michigan. She never married and did not have any children.

Family and friends may gather at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M.
