Dewayne M. Becker

Dewayne M. Becker peacefully passed away on June 6, 2023.  He was born on November 30, 1929, to his loving parents in Northville, Michigan.

Dewayne was a diligent and hardworking man throughout his life. He graduated from Plymouth High School and was a proud alumnus. After completing his education, he joined Stroh's Beer and worked tirelessly for many years. Alongside that, he was an entrepreneur at heart and owned vending business which was his passion project.

Despite being a busy man with many responsibilities, Dewayne always made time for loved ones. He cherished his family dearly and enjoyed spending quality time with them at their family gatherings. He had an infectious smile that could light up any room and never failed to make everyone feel welcome.

Dewayne found love and married Shirley Becker in the prime of his life and they enjoyed a beautiful journey together until she passed away in 1996. She was the love of his life and their relationship set the standard high for what true love represents.

In the year of his passing, Dewayne's son Jeff Becker and daughter Sandra Jacobs survived him. Jeff remembers his father as the kindest soul who always stood by him no matter what. Dewayne's dedication towards family values instilled in Jeff that importance of compassion and love.

A memorial gathering will be held on June 14th, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home located at 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan to celebrate the beautiful life of Dewayne Becker. We mourn the loss of such a wonderful man who touched so many people's lives with kindness and love during his time here on earth.
