Daniel Ray Gross passed away January 27, 2022 at the age of 67. He was born December 3, 1954 in Jackson, Kentucky to Floyd and Laura Gross. He is survived and greatly loved by his wife Julie, his children Jody Gross and Melissa (Travis) Chipelewski and his precious grandson Camden Chipelewski, his brothers and sister Dennis Gross, Donald (Pam) Gross, Linda (Paul) Wheeler and Darrell (Betty Jane) Gross. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Frances Mettetal, his sister-in-law Lesley Barry and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Daniel was born in Jackson, Kentucky and has lived in the Plymouth area for the past 40 years. He retired from the Wallside Windows company, November 1, 2020, after 36 years of service. Daniel’s interests were varied and plentiful. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, pool and cornhole. He loved to walk his neighborhood and enjoyed talking to people he didn’t know. Dan got a kick out of telling Alexa to play his favorite tunes. He was a huge Kentucky Wildcats Basketball fan. Dan enjoyed food and had a love of sweets. He was a loving man who cherished spending time with his family.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. There will be a Funeral Service at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeff Noble officiating.
A Private Burial Service will take place Saturday at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in memory of Daniel Ray Gross to a charity of your choice.
