Dan L. Sargent

Dan Sargent, beloved husband, father and papa, passed away on December 9, 2023. Dan was born on March 27, 1948 to his parents, the late Charles and Ruth Sargent.

Dan was a devoted family man who leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.  He is deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife Cheryl of 40 years and his two children Jeff (Lauren) Sargent and Kyle (Danielle) Sargent.  

Dan found immeasurable joy in spending time with his loving grandchildren: Brayden, Ella, Luke, Caleb, and Aurora.   He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his sister-in-law Vienna Sargent, niece Kelly (Lance) Freeman, nephew Matt Sargent, great-niece McKenzie Freeman and great-nephew Ben Freeman.

He is pre-deceased by his brother Lowell Sargent.

Dan proudly served in the United States Army and honorably defended his country with unwavering bravery. His military service exemplified his sense of duty and selflessness. His profound patriotism and sacrifice will forever be remembered by those who knew him.

Dan will be laid to rest with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, December 15, 2023.

May Dan rest in eternal peace, knowing that he is deeply loved and profoundly missed.
