Cynthia Diane White

Cynthia Diane White, age 66 of Dearborn Heights passed away on August 8, 2026.

She was born on May 2, 1960 in Detroit to her parents, the late Lillian (née Gonzalez) and James Edward Terrell. She is the loving and devoted mother of three children – Kelsey White, Karley (Justin) Westra and Kendal (Jackson) Moulton. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother Gary (Jenny) Terrell. Cynthia is also predeceased by her brothers James Terrell, Michael Terrell and Marc Terrell.

Cynthia Diane White was a truly selfless woman who had a heart for others and a gift for making people feel welcomed and loved. She had a way of making friends wherever she went, and it was her genuine kindness and caring spirit that made those friendships so meaningful.

Cynthia never hesitated to give of herself to others, and she found joy in making a difference in the lives of the people around her. She had a tender heart for animals, especially cats, and appreciated the simple beauty found in nature. Some of her happiest moments were spent near the Great Lakes, traveling up north to Oscoda, Michigan, admiring waterfalls, or pausing to watch a beautiful sunrise. These were the moments that brought her peace and reminded her of the beauty in the world.

But more than anything, Cynthia loved being a mom. Her children were at the heart of her life, and knowing she was to become a grandmother was a joy she embraced with great excitement. She treasured her family and the time they shared together, and the love she poured into them was one of the greatest expressions of who she was.

She will be remembered not simply for the things she loved, but for the love she gave so freely. Her selflessness, compassion, gentle spirit, and ability to make friends wherever she went leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. The love she shared with her family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of those who will miss her dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026 beginning at 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at The Lions Pavilion, 1901 North Carlson Street, Westland, Michigan situated inside Central City Park.
