Cole William Deasley passed away on October 20, 2026, at 25 years old, after a lifetime of joy. He is survived by his parents, Lisa Kisabeth (Patrick Schafer) and Bryan Deasley (Anna Tartan); his sister, Danielle Deasley (Benjamin Riley), step sister, Katy Schafer, and step brother, Jack Schafer; his grandparents, Gordon and Michele Kisabeth; his uncles Robert (Stephanie) Kisabeth, Craig (Catherine Korkola) Deasley, and Grant (Karyn) Deasley. He is also survived by cousins Jacob Kisabeth, Matthew (Annie) Kisabeth, Taylor Deasley, Paige Deasley, William Deasley and his beloved pal Shannon Deasley.
He leaves behind many beloved great-aunts, uncles and cousins.
Cole led a daily battle with epilepsy since he was 6 months old. He never spoke a word, but communicated so very clearly to those he loved. His eyes and eyebrows asked, "Really?" and "Why don't I eat Rice Krispies Treats all the time?" His hugs and embraces said, "Thank you" and "I love you." He loved the beach, the water and sand, the sun and the pool. He dove headfirst into life, and the hot tub, and it was an honor and a joy to follow him.
Cole taught everyone that knew him the value of patience and unconditional love. He was loved for his gentle nature, loving affection and, of course, his green strings.
Cole will forever be remembered for the love and laughter that he brought into the world. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who were privileged to share in his journey.
"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. ("Winnie the Pooh - A.A. Milne)
There will be no formal service. Please honor Cole with a smile and a hug, or by sunbathing and humming a nursery rhyme.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angel's Place, which provides loving homes and professional support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
