Christopher Tyler Leach

Christopher Tyler Leach, age 31 of Plymouth, passed away suddenly on June 24, 2025. He was born August 10, 1993 to his loving parents Susan White and Chris (Lori) Leach. Christopher had a natural warmth and an easygoing nature that made people feel welcome wherever he went. He loved being outdoors – whether it was camping, hiking through the woods or just sitting around a fire with the people he cared about most. Some of his happiest moments were spent surrounded by family and friends, laughing, talking and simply enjoying the moment.

Christopher was affectionately nicknamed “Bubba” for his size as a baby, but the nickname stuck and many family and friends still refer to him as “Bubba” or “Uncle Bubba”. From a young age, he had a natural curiosity for the world around him, often studying maps and figuring out how to find his way to new places. His fascination with navigation and exploration reflected the way he lived his life, always seeking new paths, adventures, and experiences, with a deep desire to connect with the world and the people around him.

Christopher had a passion for mechanics and fixing things. Over the years, he honed his skills and worked tirelessly to become a skilled mechanic, working his way up from humble beginnings. His commitment to his craft, attention to detail, and his strong work ethic were evident in everything he did. Christopher loved taking things apart to understand how they worked and was always eager to solve problems, whether it was fixing a car or just about anything that needed repair. His hands were always busy, and he took great pride in his ability to bring things back to life.

He was known for his unwavering determination and ability to take on challenges with a positive attitude. Christopher’s work ethic was unmatched, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He took great satisfaction in being there to help others.

Above all, Christopher was a devoted father to his young son, Colson. His love for Colson was immeasurable, and his son was his greatest joy. Christopher cherished his role as a father and found deep fulfillment in every moment spent with Colson. His love for Colson was felt in the quiet moments they shared and the quiet pride that filled his expression when he saw others with his son.

Christopher is survived by his beloved son, Colson Christopher Leach and his partner, Alexis Hahn, Colson’s mother; his parents, Susan White and Chris (Lori) Leach; his siblings, Chelsea (David) Luick, Nick (Courtney) Tripp, Ashley (James) Block and John Ellis; his nieces and nephews, Henry, Harper, Sophia, Jack, Mira, Amelia, Oliver, Morgan and Myles; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who will forever carry his memory.

A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held on July 2, 2025 at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI from 4-8 PM, with a service occurring at 7PM.
