Chuck Badnarik

April 6, 1957 — February 22, 2024

Chuck Badnarik

Chuck Badnarik, a beloved member of the community, has passed away at the age of 66. Chuck was born on April 6, 1957, and departed from this world on February 22, 2024. He leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by all who knew him.

Chuck was born in East Chicago, Indiana.  He attended Hammond Clark High School and was a member of the football, basketball, baseball and hockey teams. During his senior year in 1974, the Hammond Clark Pioneers football team won the Indiana Lakeshore Conference. After high school, Chuck attended Indiana University where he received his Bachelor’s degree. He went on to Walsh College where he earned his Master’s Degree in Finance and passed his CPA exam. With a Master's degree in Finance under his belt, Chuck was admired for his knowledge and passion in the field.

Outside of work, Chuck found joy in various hobbies and interests. An avid Chicago sports fan, he enthusiastically supported teams such as the Black Hawks, White Sox, and the Chicago Bears. His enthusiasm for sports was infectious and brought light to many gatherings.

His friends remember him as being loyal and compassionate.   He would travel several miles, if necessary, to help take care of family members or get to a hospital to be with a loved one or friend.  This was truly a demonstration of his deep regard for family and friends and to let them know they were not alone because he cared about them.

Chuck will be remembered not only for his professional accomplishments and hobbies but also for the love he shared with his family and friends. He was the caretaker of the family.  He is survived by his fiancée, Renee Blosser, who meant the world to him. In their time together, they built a bond that will remain unbreakable even in Chuck's absence.

Although we mourn the loss of Chuck Badnarik, we take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his parents, John and Elaine (nee Gima) Badnarik, and his brothers Michael and Steve. As we gather to honor and remember Chuck's life, let us celebrate the profound impact he had on all of us.

Visitation services to commemorate Chuck's life will be held on February 29, 2024, at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI. The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM and conclude at 8:00 PM. Let us come together to pay tribute to a remarkable individual who touched the hearts of many.
