Carol Marie Megdan

December 14, 1937 — April 11, 2021

Carol Marie Megdan, age 83 of Northville, Michigan passed away on April 11, 2021.

Carol was born on December 14, 1937 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents, the late William and Gladys (née Soper) Ward. She is the beloved and devoted wife of John J. Megdan for the past 55 years. Loving mother of John William (Jackie) Megdan and Heidi Gautz; proud grandmother of John Paul Megdan, Grace Margaret Megdan and Gretchen Gautz and great-grandmother of Rylee Megdan-Cutlip. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Patricia Grise.

Carol was a true sports enthusiast and participant. She loved downhill skiing, water skiing, tennis and golf. But her favorite activity was swimming. She was also a Swim Instructor at the Y.M.C.A. Carol and John travelled all over the world and they also enjoyed travelling in their motor home. Travel encompassed all of these experiences and provided stories to tell upon returning home. Carol and John loved traveling in their motorhome. The motorhome offered the flexibility of being able to travel anywhere at a moment’s notice to explore the outdoors and all of the beautiful places this country has to offer whether it was a weekend or a long trip. Carol was also an active member at St. Kenneth Catholic Church in Plymouth.
