Anna L. Vaughn

Anna L. Vaughn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on December 26th, 2023 at the age of 92. She was born on January 6, 1931 to her parents David and Ethel Dodge. 

Anna lived a remarkable life. Her kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, nurturing mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Anna was born and raised in Flint, Michigan where she also met her husband of 72 years, Roger.  The two were married in 1951 and later moved to Plymouth with their new-born daughter in 1955.  A few years later, they welcomed a son and have lived in Plymouth ever since.  Anna had many interests over the years from sewing to gardening as well as cooking.  She always enjoyed a good cookbook.  She was also a member of several clubs over the years and especially enjoyed being a member of P.E.O., a Philanthropic Educational Organization, where she had been a member since 1975.  She had met many special friends through P.E.O.. 

Anna is survived by her loving husband Roger, two children, Barbara Vecchioni and David (Julie) Vaughn, granddaughter Christina (Jason) Hitchings and her great grandchildren Ava and Olivia.

Visitation for Anna will take place on December 29th 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, MI.

Anna will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery on December 29^th immediately following the service.
