Andy Pietrobono

On August 8, 2024, Andy Pietrobono was called to his heavenly home. Andy was a loving man who touched the lives of many with his kindness, selflessness, and hard work. Andy was born on May 10, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, to his loving parents, Andrew and Anna Pietrobono.

He found love and happiness with his long-time partner/wife, Debby Ervans, who stood by his side 24/7 for over 20 years. They shared a deep bond of love, friendship, dancing, and even worked together while supporting his business.

Andy is predeceased by his brother Joe, and will be missed by his siblings Nardina Cooper, Ron (Denise) Pietrobono, Maria (Mark) Marrone, Joann Pietrobono, and Carol (Dean) Diamond.

Andy is also survived by his former spouse, Mercedes Pietrobono. Together they were blessed with four loving children: Andy Pietrobono, Lenny Pietrobono, Joe (Janelle) Pietrobono, and Melanie (Jason) Etheredge.

Andy's legacy extends beyond his immediate family as he was the beloved nephew, cousin, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to so many loved ones.

After spending much of his life as a master auto mechanic, he started his handyman business. Whether it was fixing a car, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, or building, Andy was the man for the job. He found joy in knowing that his skills and hard work helped others.

If Andy wasn’t working, you could find him listening to a live band, ballroom dancing, playing pool, or sitting at home rooting for all of Detroit’s sports teams with Debby by his side.

Andy Pietrobono’s departure from this world was unexpected. It was well before his time as he was still full of life. He left behind a legacy of love, dedication, selflessness, and hard work. Though he is no longer with us, his memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May Andy rest in peace, reunited with his parents and brother, in a place where love and memories endure for eternity.
