Alan J. Miller

Alan J. Miller, age 73 of Britton, Michigan passed away on February 1, 2020.

Alan was born on August 29, 1946 in Detroit to his parents, Hugo and Jean (nee Semple) Miller. He is the beloved and devoted husband of Jo Anne (nee Telvin). They were married on August 17, 1968 at St. George Cathedral in Southfield. He is the loving father of Michael (Amy) Miller and Kim Mandrelle; proud grandfather of Tyler Mandrelle, Reid Miller and Drew Miller. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his mother, Jean Miller and his siblings, Russell (Pat) Miller, Kurt (Sue) Miller and Linda (Tom) Kotrych.

Alan was a sheet metal worker. He was an extremely skilled tradesman who didn’t just love his work….he lived and breathed his profession and took great care in all that he did on the job. All who knew Alan also knew of his great loyalty and proud membership with Sheet Metal Workers International Local Union #80. Alan enjoyed golf, bowling and fishing, but above all else, spending time with his family and friends was his greatest joy in life. Alan will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Friends may visit on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Thursday, February 6, from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. There will be a Trisagion Service at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening beginning at 6:00 P.M.
