Adrienne (Audrey) Verkerke

Adrienne (Audrey) Verkerke, age 84 passed away on April 28, 2019.

Adrienne was born in Dearborn, Michigan on December 26, 1934 to her parents, Frank and Anna Gallant.

She is the loving mother of five children, Suzanne (Michael) Duffy, Daniel (Karen) Verkerke, Paul Verkerke, Ann Pitser and the late Michael Verkerke; grandmother of 8 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 3 great-grandchildren. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Audrey grew up in Dearborn, Michigan and was a graduate of St. Alphonsus Catholic High School and was still in touch with many of her classmates.

Audrey enjoyed her family time the most. Her connections with girlfriends was special. She enjoyed art shows, dinner, theater, movies, traveling and shopping with her closest friends.

Friends may visit for a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth from 1:00 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. to be officiated by The Reverend Drex Morton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Adrienne Verkerke to Hospice of Michigan, 2366 Oak Valley Drive, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103.
