William "Bill" McConnell passed away February 15, 2012, at the age of 53. He is the beloved father of William (Michele) McConnell Jr., Jennifer (Jeff) Lewis, and Chelsea Duffy. Dear grandfather of Nicholas and Andrew McConnell and Julia and Josh Lewis. Dear brother of Thomas (Rhonda) McConnell, Gerald (Cathy) McConnell, Kathy (Ken) Roberts, Sharon Webb, Christine Kujawa, Richard (Debbie) McConnell and the late James McConnell (his wife Paula survives). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Bill attended Hazel Park Schools, and later worked as a mechanic in the automotive repair business. He had a heart of gold and was very polite and very thoughtful. Bill loved animals. Mostly he was very family oriented. He loved his children and grandchildren very much.
