Virginia Margaret Gibson

Passed away at Four Season's Nursing Home on August 11, 2012 at the age of 77. Virginia was born in Ann Arbor the daughter of Walter F. and Olive M. ( Bowers ) Baumgartner. For 39 years she was a cashier for Kroger's both at the Wesland and Plymouth stores. She is survived by her special significant other, John G. Battaglia. She was the beloved mother of Richard ( Lynn ) Gibson and Cheryl Reitz. Also surviving are her grandchildren Erin and Ashley Gibson and Justin, Curtis and Brandon. Four siblings survive, Robert B. Baumgartner, Marge ( Norman) McGarry, Jean Bland and Linda (George) Hieronymus. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1pm until 9pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth where funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 1pm with Reverend Drex Morton officiating. Interment will follow at Lapham Cemetery.
