Sandra Mary Welton

Sandra Mary Welton, age 75 of Plymouth, and formerly of South Lyon, passed away on January 22, 2022. Sandra was born on July 7, 1946 in Rawsonville, Michigan.

She is the beloved and devoted wife of David R. Welton; loving mother of Wendy (Mike) Bitner of Howell, Michigan, Tammy (Kirk) Laughner of Tampa, Florida, Matt (Heather) Chapman of Howell and step-mother to Jessica (Robert) Duncan of Jonesville, Tennessee; proud grandmother of Ethan Chapman, Jeremy Chapman, Jordan Chapman, Austin Bitner, Drew Laughner and Sarah Laughner. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother, Larry S. Florion of Sarasota, Florida.

Sandra was employed at the Kroger grocery store in Ann Arbor. She enjoyed her position there and enjoyed chatting with customers. Her family says that she never met a person she didn’t love. She was not afraid to be friendly and positive in her interactions with anyone she met. Because of that wonderful people skill, she was able to create an instant connection with everyone she knew and make anyone she met feel good about themselves.

Friends may gather on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Bible Church, 34541 Five Mile Road, Livonia. A luncheon will follow the Memorial Service.
