Rowena Huckabone

Rowena “Bunny” Huckabone, age 87, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, Michigan.
She was born April 12, 1934, in Dearborn to Dean Bunch and Katherine Betki. Bunny (or “Grande”, a name adopted via her first grandchild) was a 1952 graduate of Dearborn High School. She worked for “Fords” as a secretary for many years and then had a career in real estate.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends along with some travel. In 1961, Bunny met Grant, who would become her husband of 57 years. Together they would raise four children whom they doted over to this day.
Bunny is survived by her daughter Tara Cooper (Greg), son Robert Huckabone (Karen), son Gary Huckabone (Sheryl), daughter-in-law Christine Huckabone, grandchildren Amanda (Adam), Alicia (Andy), Adrienne (Ryan), Breanne (Drew), Ian and Bob, and great-grandchildren Reed and Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Huckabone and also her son, Edward Grant Huckabone.
A celebration of life will be planned for later this year.
