Rosemary Ellen "Rosebud" Trask

Rosemary Ellen Trask “Rosebud” passed away at home in Eureka Springs, Arkansas on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at the age of 65. She was born on March 25, 1953 in Detroit, Michigan to Thurston and Rosemary (McErlane) Trask.

Rosebud will be missed by her sister Kathleen (Larry) Olesky and her nieces and nephews. Rosebud is also survived by many cousins, her dear friend, Teresa in Michigan and many wonderful friends in Eureka Springs. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thurston and Rosemary (McErlane) Trask, her oldest sister, Roberta (Trask) Ronayne and her older brother, Thurston Trask II.

Rosebud was incredibly creative, an excellent waitress and loved to salvage antiques so much that she opened a retail shop in her twenties. She was deeply loved by her family and friends and will truly be missed.

A memorial gathering and service celebrating Rosebud’s life will be held on Friday, August 10th. Family and friends may visit Schrader Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan 48170 starting at 10:00 am. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 am.

Following the service, Rosebud will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 25800 West 10 Mile Road, Southfield, Michigan 48033 at 1:00 pm. Immediately following the burial, a celebration of Rosebud’s life will continue at her childhood home 32500 West Chicago, Livonia, Michigan 48150.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Last Day Dog Rescue to honor Rosebud’s love of animals.
