Ronald E. Wendland

Ronald E. Wendland, age 81 of Plymouth passed away on June 29, 2016. Ronald was born in Plymouth, Michigan on March 26, 1935. He is the beloved husband of 60 years to his wife, Carolyn (nee Bond); dearest father of his 3 children, Cheryl (Doug) Smith, Steven (Diane) Wendland, and Colleen (Jon) Baumann. Proud grandfather of Rebecca (Philip) Westgate, Philip Wendland, Renee Wendland, Matthew Smith, Josiah Baumann, and Olivia Baumann and, great-grandfather of Aaron Westgate; loving brother of Patricia Wagenschutz. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Wendland but is survived by his cherished mother, Hazel (nee Beyer) Wendland.

Friends may visit Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, June 30th 4pm to 8pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 1st at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Penniman Avenue, Plymouth. He will be in state at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Burial will be at Glen Eden Lutheran Memorial Park, Livonia, Michigan.
