Richard Durham Owens, age 96 of Westland passed away on November 28, 2021.
Richard was born on October 15, 1925 in Corbin, Kentucky to his parents, Minnie (nee Harkew) and White T. Owens.
He is the loving husband of the late Tommie Owens. They were married for 78 years. Together they raised six children - Mike (Shawn), Mark (Debbie), Sharon Rhines, Janis Dethloff, Jack (Darlene) and Keith (Sandy). He is also the proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 P.M.
Following the funeral service, Richard will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery alongside his wife, Tommie, who just passed away on November 22, 2021.
