Born February 20, 1931 in Rabat, Malta. Loving wife of 60 years to the late Thomas. Beloved mother of Michael (Elizabeth) Sammut, Joseph (Elizabeth) Sammut and Marilyn Sammut. Proud grandmother of Christina (Edward) Hanlon, Thomas, Kimberly (Giovanni), David and Jessie Sammut. Great grandmother of Caroline Hanlon. Rafela moved from Malta to the United States with her beloved Thomas to start a new life, now they are truly together forever.
Rafela will be buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. on Friday, January 6th.
