Phyllis M. Vink, age 94 of Plymouth Township passed away on July 18, 2020.
Phyllis was born on July 18, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan to her parents, Walter and Theresa (nee Zielinski). She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard G. Vink and is also predeceased by her son, Gerald P. and her two brothers, Walter and Donald.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Frances) Vink, Grandchildren, Elizabeth, Andrew, Charles and Katherine; great-grand child, Amelia as well as nieces and nephews, Jill, Gery, Karen and Keith.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 2020 at St. Anne's Church, 38100 Five Mile Rd. Livonia, MI 48154. Phyllis will lie in state at 10:30am with Mass at 11:00am. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Twp., MI following services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen, 1820 Mount Elliott Street, Detroit, MI 48207.
Please be advised that in observance of the governmental order from the State of Michigan because of the current COVID-19 situation, when in attendance at the Funeral Mass, we kindly ask for the safety and well-being of the families we serve and for your health, that everyone practice social distancing and consideration for other guests in attendance. Please refrain from handshaking and embracing family members and one another. All those who attend the visitation or funeral service are required by Michigan Law to wear a mask.
