Pearl W. Schaening

Pearl W. Schaening, age 92 of Plymouth, passed away on June 14, 2015. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 20, 1922 the daughter of William Arthur Sill and Cora Barbara (nee Fischer) Sill. She is the beloved wife of almost 74 years to Eugene Schaening. They were married on August 16, 1941. Pearl is the loving mother of the late Lawrence Schaening, Carol Schwartz, and Judith Ann (Craig “Kip”) Tolles. She is also the proud grandmother and great-grandmother of a multitude of grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Pearl was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking and family events. Pearl was also an avid knitter who enjoyed crocheting and needlework projects. Funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Paul Schaefer 11am Wednesday, June 17th at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Penniman Avenue, Plymouth. Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth on Tuesday, June 16th 2pm to 9pm. Interment at Cadillac Memorial Gardens-East, Mt. Clemens. Memorials may be made in memory of Pearl Schaening to St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1343 Penniman Avenue, Plymouth, Michigan 48170.
