Ilene (nee Powers) Herriman; the loving father of five sons and the loving father-in-law of three daughters-in-law – Douglas (Pamela) Herriman, David (Christine) Herriman, Daniel (Mary Ann Prchlik) Herriman, Michael Herriman and Donald Herriman. He is the proud and loving grandfather of Douglas (Elizabeth) Herriman, Dawn (Nicholas) Hurley, Dale Herriman, Jane Herriman, Nancy (Lucas Nuzzi) Herriman and Margaret Herriman; the loving great-grandfather of Chloe, Madison, Nicholas, Mackenzie, Wyn and Cal. He will be missed by his brother Jeff (Karen) Herriman and sister Kathleen (Charles) Truax, Ilene’s sister-in-law - Gladys (James, deceased) Powers, Ilene’s niece who was raised as a sister - Janet (Lawrence) Lanphear, many nieces and nephews and step-children - Larry (Allison) O’Hara and Linda (Jeff) Juenemann, Michael (Sue) Berardi and Cindy (Dan, deceased) Haas.

Pat enlisted in the U.S. Army at age 18 in May 1949. He served in Korea until September 1951. He was a pole lineman. Pat recalled that he learned to descend a pole very quickly.

Pat retired from General Motors where he worked as a tool and die maker. In retirement, he enjoyed traveling and woodworking and making furniture.

His last full sentence was one heard hundreds of times. When asked, “how are you?” Pat replied, in strained speech, “Just about perfect; how are you?”.
