Mildred Marie Trafidlo of Northville was born on March 30, 1927 and passed away on June 18, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, her parents George and Mary Secka, and her brother Rudy G. Secka.
She was survived by her children Ronald (Heidi) Trafidlo, Karen (John) Shandilis, Ellen (Robert) Lawton, Debbie (Richard) Waite, her grandchildren Jason (Nikolina) Shandilis, Jonathan Shandilis, Michelle (Adam) Mullen, Michael (Rylie) Lawton, Derek (Rebecca) Waite, Alexandra Waite, and her great grandchildren Nikolai Shandilis, Alice Mullen, Margo Mullen, Luna Waite and Enzo Waite.
Mildred and Henry lived in Hamtramck, Inkster and then in Livonia, where she resided for most of her life.
Mildred was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nana, and Auntie. Nothing brought her more pure joy than being with her family and friends. She loved music (especially Czech music) and dancing.
A private service was held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on June 22, 2022.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the charity of their choice, or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
