Mary Elizabeth Townley

Mary Elizabeth Townley age 73, of Atlanta, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. She is the beloved wife of Sidney Ralph Townley. Devoted and loving mother of Hope (Mike) O’Donnell, Beth Swiss, Tom (Jennifer) Townley, Dan (Liz) Townley, and Mike (Emily) Townley. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren - Michael O’Donnell, Kristi Swiss, Kristen O’Donnell, Ashley Swiss, Alyssa Swiss, Kylie Townley, Jacob Townley, Peyton Rihn, and Kaitlyn Townley.

Mary was a beloved and adored wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Mary was always ready to help a family member, neighbor or friend whenever she was needed. She is the rock of the family, and will be remembered for her immeasurably generous and compassionate heart. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Townley family will gather with family and friends at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Thursday, October 11th from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM and again on Friday, October 12th from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Visitation on Friday morning will be followed by a Circle of Life Ceremony to be led by the family beginning at 10:00 A.M and Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 A.M. officiated by Reverend Frank Howard.

Mary will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Livonia.
