Loretta Young

Loretta Young, age 90 of Plymouth, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017. Loretta is the beloved wife of the late Harold Young. They were married September 13, 1947. Harold passed away June 9, 2014. They were married for 66 years.

Loretta is a long-time member of the Plymouth Theater Guild. She produced and starred in many of their productions. She also was a member of the Plymouth VFW Post 6695 and was a past President of the Women’s Auxiliary where she demonstrated her support and service to veterans and active duty members of the military and their families.

Loretta is the loving mother of Janet (Richard) Wears and Leanne Young; very proud grandmother of Jeffery (Sreelatha) Wears, Douglas (Alicia) Wears and Patrick Wears and great-grandmother of Aelia. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Paul Toupin.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth on Thursday, May 18 from 3pm to 8pm. The Funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, May 19th at 11:00 a.m. officiated by The Reverend Father Thomas Belczak.

Loretta will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
