Lillian Jones

October 2, 1928 — February 28, 2019

Lillian Jones of Plymouth, died February 28, 2019 at the age of 90. She was born in Detroit, to her late parents William and Louise McDonald. Lillian is the beloved wife of Leslie Jones and together they shared 65 years of marriage. Lillian is also survived by her loving children Penny (David) Lewis, and Denise (David) Durkin, dear grandchildren Carrie (Rick), Tracy, Shannon (Joris), and Kristi (William), precious great grandchildren Katie (Adam), Chelsea, Zach, and William, and her cherished great great grandchildren Brayden and Maverick. Lillian was preceded in death by her brother and 3 sisters.

Lillian spent 37 years working for the Burroughs Corporation. When she retired, she and Leslie moved to Sarasota, Florida. They enjoyed their retirement with many activities including golfing, bowling, bingo, and playing cards. They spent 28 years there before returning home to Michigan.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 3, from 3-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170. Her Funeral Service will be Monday at 11am at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
