Kenneth W. Moore

Kenneth W. Moore passed away at Garden City Osteopathic Hospital on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the age of 73. Ken was the son of the late William E. and Anna F. ( nee Pustelak ) Moore. He graduated from Plymouth High School and enlisted in the United States Air Force shortly after graduation. After completing his military obligation Ken went to work for Ford Motor. He worked for Ford's for 35 years, ending his career in 2006 as a supervisor. Ken was a life long resident of Plymouth and after retiring drove school buses for a couple of years for the Plymouth-Canton school system, a job he truly enjoyed. Ken had a passion for cars. He enjoyed rebuilding them and supping them up. Politics and football, both pro and collegiate were other enjoyments for him. But foremost was his family, Ken was truly a " family guy." In the early 1970's he met Susan Perry whom he married in 1972. Ken is survived by his wife and daughter Heather. Also surviving are his sisters Patricia ( Stephen ) Ribar and Mary ( James ) Maloney along with nieces and nephews. There will be a gathering and visitation on Monday from 5 pm until 8 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. A private burial will be held on Tuesday.
