Karl L. Little

July 18, 1934 — February 14, 2021

Karl L. Little, age 86 of Plymouth passed away on February 14, 2021.

Karl was born on July 18, 1934 in Clearfield, Pennsylvania to his parents, James and Maude (née Rowles) Little. He is the beloved and devoted husband of Darlene (née Miller) Little; loving father of Leonard (Dorothy) Little and the late Jeffrey Little; proud grandfather of Nicole (Jack) Stryker and Jacob (Marlee) Little. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his brother, Earl Little as well as many other family members, loved ones and numerous friends.

Karl was a man of many talents and interests. He loved polka music and was an accomplished accordionist too. He loved his family, was active at his church and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a proud line worker at Ford Motor Company in Wixom, Mi for 40 years. He also had proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He was a very active member of the Western Wayne County Conservation Association. He was hands-on in every aspect and sport of archery at WWCCA. To say he was an avid archer was clearly an understatement. He was a marksman that lived and breathed the art of using a bow to shoot an arrow at a bullseye. Archery is a competitive sport and recreational activity for anyone - children and adults. If you did any shooting at WWCCA, you knew Karl and he would make every effort to know you too. He was extremely instrumental in creating and managing the 3-D Archery Range for creating new ways to have fun with a bow. In a way, archery is like life. We make goals for ourselves and we strive to hit the mark as best we can to accomplish those goals. Karl was a straight arrow, a family man who is deeply loved by all whose life was touched by him and he will be missed by many.
