Joanne Stein, age 81 of Plymouth passed away on January 25, 2020.
Joanne was born in Camden, New Jersey on June 28, 1938 to her parents, Joseph and Catherine (nee Daly) Feinstein. She is the beloved and devoted wife of Mark Doeffinger. They were married 45 years ago in Dublin, Ireland on November 1, 1974. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother-in-law, Derek (Bunny) Doeffinger, sister-in-law, Kristen (Jerry) Johnson and brother-in-law, Peter Venos; nephews, James Venos, Michael (Angela) Venos, Christopher (Mimi) Johnson and Jason (Betsy) Johnson; niece, Bari Doeffinger. She is pre-deceased by her sister, Ellen Venos.
Joanne is a retired English Professor. She began teaching at Schoolcraft College in the 1960s until her retirement in the early 2000s.
