Joanne N. Gorman

Joanne Nancy Gorman of Plymouth, died June 21, 2019. She was 82 years old. Joanne was born in Detroit to Edward and Tess (nee Wisniewski) Yagelo. Joanne was the beloved wife of the late Alvin Gorman who died in 2012. Joanne is survived by her 4 loving children William (Beth) Gorman, Karla Gorman, Robert (Patty) Gorman and Debra (Michael) Kline, her precious grandchildren Kate Gorman Hunyor, Madeleine Gorman, Samantha Gorman, Elaine Gorman, Andrew Kline, Jessica Kline, and Stephanie Kline.

Joanne was a graduate from the University of Michigan in 1959. Later that year, she married Alvin and together they shared 53 years of marriage. They were also blessed with four wonderful children. After the kids began going to school, Joanne went back to work as a Pharmacist. She loved to read and she loved trivia. Joanne will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorial Gathering Friday, June 28, from 3-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. Her Memorial Service will be Saturday, June 29, at 1pm at the funeral home. Family and friends may begin visiting at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
