Janell Elizabeth Mertins, age 92, passed away on March 5, 2019.
Janell was born on May 6, 1926 in Marietta, Ohio to her parents, Alfred F. and Ollie (nee Donaldson) Remley. She is the beloved wife of the late Victor Mertins who passed away in 2006. She is the loving and devoted step-mother to Darlene Mertins, and proud aunt of Robert Breckenridge, Susan Breckenridge, Carol Ann McFarland, and Barbara (Ump) Johnston and great-aunt to Marc Breckenridge, Cindy Rodriguez, Dick Christiansen, Erik Christiansen, Curtis (Kim) Breckenridge, and Janet (Eddie) Trent.
Janell will be laid to rest on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Watertown Cemetery in Waterford, Ohio.
Janell is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends and all whose life was touched by her.
