James Roland Amick, age 69 of Ypsilanti, passed away on October 14, 2018. Loving father of Brian (Brandee) Amick and Bradley Amick. Proud grandfather of Kyle, Brianna and Kendall Amick. Dear brother of Carol (Lewis) Barrett and Janice Hanaford.
James proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. James enjoyed golfing and watching the Detroit Red Wings but most of all he loved spending time with his family.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth on Sunday, October 21st beginning at 1:00pm and concluding with the American Legion Post 32 Military Honors Ceremony at 7:00pm. A committal service will be held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI on Monday, October 22nd at 10:00am.
