Harry James Hayes Jr.

Harry James Hayes Jr. passed away May 2, 2014 at the age of 66. He was born July 21, 1947 in Jackson, Tennessee to Harry James Sr. and Mary Virginia(Wilson)Hayes. Jim is the beloved husband of 31 years to Molly. He is the dear father of Dorian Hayes and Cynthia Clement and grandfather of Toni, Allison, Joseph, Stephanie, Taylor, Kristina and Timothy. He is also survived by his sister Barbara(Tom)Kindig, his mother in law Janet McNamara, brother in law Michael McNamara, sister in law Lynn McNamara and nephews Kevin, Brian, Steven, Alex and Rudy. Jim was a licensed builder working in the home improvement industry. He attended Wayne Memorial High School then joined the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. He served in the Navy for 4 years having been to 30 countries in that time. Jim loved to shoot pool, read, listen to music and watch Tiger baseball. Jim was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Our deepest gratitude to Arbor Hospice and their wonderful staff for all their caring and support. Memorials may be made by donor's choice to any of the following organizations: Arbor Hospice, ChildFund International, The USO, Wounded Warrior Project, Gleaners Food Bank or Michigan Humane Society. A private family gathering is being planned in lieu of a memorial service per the wishes of the deceased.
