Genevieve Mary Marlow
June 29, 1924 — January 17, 2020
Genevieve Mary Marlow, age 95 of Belleville and formerly of Clinton Township, passed away on January 17, 2020.
Genevieve was born in Detroit on June 29, 1924 to her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee Ogonek) Filipowicz. She lived a fulfilling life as the beloved and devoted mother of her son, Robert (Linda) Marlow; proud grandmother of Daniel (Andrea) Marlow and Peter (fiancée, Sarah Harkness) Marlow, great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren, and a friend to many.
After thirty years of employment at age 65, Genevieve retired in 1989 from Bendix Corporation in Detroit. Her last position at Bendix was as a Precision Assembler. She enjoyed bowling, and in her spare time, she loved to read. She is also remembered as a very active member of St. Ronald Catholic Church in Clinton Township.
Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, many friends and relatives. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of her family of loved ones and all whose life was touched by her.
