Frank Abbate

Frank Alan Abbate, 68, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on September 26, 2019, at Henry Ford Hospital after a strong fight against his various ailments. Frank is survived by his beloved wife Janice. Loving father to daughter Alyssa. Dearest brother to sisters Sandy and Karen.

Frank was born on January 14, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to Salvatore and Elizabeth Abbate. He worked as a lawn sprinkler contractor his entire life, never wishing to retire from the trade he loved so dearly. He loved his career almost as much as he adored his only daughter, Alyssa, and his wife and partner of over forty years, Janice.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00pm on October 5, 5019 at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit the funeral home at 2:00 PM.
