Eva Minnette Grace passed away April 29, 2014 at the age of 97. She was born September 6, 1916 in Freemont, Ohio to Frederick and Harriet(Dice)Sebrell. She was preceded in death by her husbands George Post, Robert S. Scott and Thomas S. Grace. She is the beloved mother of Gerald(Lillian)Post, Georgina(the late Berny)Scott-Groth, Robert A.(Michele)Scott, Mary J.(Jim)Grace-McCollum and the late Glenn Thomas Grace(his wife Pam survives), dear grandmother of David Post, Kenneth Post, Robert Post, Robert Scott, Randall Scott, Ryan Scott, Sabrina Scott, Kevin McCollum and Bradley Grace and great grandmother of 9 plus. She is also survived by 1 sister Sarrahbell Wipp and preceded in death by 3 sister and 1 brothers. Eva was known to some as Eva and to others as Minnette. She graduated from Fordson High School in Dearborn and then attended Beauty School. Eva worked for a time as a beautician and also worked at Daisy Air Rifle. After various jobs she became a long time Executive Secretary for Robert Thompson at Thompson-McCully Paving Company. She loved playing golf, she also taught her daughter to golf. Eva loved U of M Wolverine Football and she also loved playing cards such as Poker, Pinochle and Eucher. She was also a very good Scrabble player. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by family and friends. A Funeral Service will take place Monday, May 5, 2014, 11am at the Community of Christ Church, Troy Oaks, 3830 Crooks Rd., Troy, Michigan. Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Sunday 2pm until 8pm and at church on Monday beginning at 10am. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Palliative Care.
