Dorothy M. Lumley

Dorothy May Lumley, age 90 of Allen Park, passed away on December 13, 2019. She was the beloved wife of the late William L. Lumley for 61 years. Loving mother to Laurence (Jacqueline) Lumley, Cynthia Erickson, Tracy Lumley, and Jeffrey (Debra) Lumley. Cherished Grandma to Matthew, Erika, Natalie, and Stephanie. She is preceded in death by her siblings Alvin Hielscher, Ada Lee Pearson, and Mary Hielscher. Dorothy is the dear sister of Sandra Kosky.

Dorothy was musically talented. She had a beautiful singing voice, and enjoyed playing the piano. When the weather was warm, she liked to garden. She enjoyed cooking, often, collecting many recipes she would like to cook one day. Dorothy will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew her.

Dorothy’s final wishes were to be cremated. The arrangements were entrusted to Schrader-Howell Funeral Home.
